“Exceptional installation! R and R far exceeded our expectations replacing our furnace and air conditioner! Perrin responded immediately to our request for an estimate. He carefully measured, sketched, and photographed our existing system to adapt a new one. Three options for Carrier furnaces and air conditions were provided, and he explained the differences, pros and cons, and answering all of our questions. His bids were lower than other estimates, and we accepted. He followed up regularly throughout the process.
Brian and Kolton started the first day by removed the old furnace and air conditioner and then skillfully installed the new furnace and AC coil. They precisely trimmed original ducting and installing new that had been custom fabricated. The shop quickly made additional pieces and sent them to the site. Jake ran new wiring from the breaker box to the furnace, fishing it between floor joists out of sight, and down an inside garage wall where it blended in with existing conduit. All hoses and wires were neatly organized and screwed down on the furnace. Everything was exacting and clean. The technicians worked as a close-knit team wiring the components and testing to ensure everything in this advanced system operated correctly. We had heat again at the end of the first day.
At the same time, Josh thoroughly cleaned ducts throughout the house. He explained his work and offered suggestions for keeping the ducts clean. As with all the R and R people, he took pride in his work and couldn’t have been nicer.
The next day, Jake returned and was joined by Troy and West. Again, teamwork was apparent as they worked seamlessly to install the new air conditioner in a better location than the old one. They reduced the long run of the hoses and masterfully fished them through a tight space inside the house where they wouldn’t show. Wiring had to be run outside the house, and they minimized the view of the conduit. Troy skillfully fabricated and installed a new return vent that was added so the updated systems would work more efficiently. Jake and West were very knowledgeable of the new top-of-the line systems and answered all of our technical questions including the sophisticated thermostat.
All technicians were professional, friendly, and perfectionists. They worked efficiently and quickly solved any unforeseen challenge. It was a pleasure watching them and reminded us of the skilled craftsmanship we've seen on TV’s “This Old House.” We also appreciate the other staff who stopped by with parts and supported the work being done. And the office staff was most helpful answering questions, handling payment, and submitting inspection paperwork. The process was seamless. We couldn’t be happier with our R and R experience! Thanks!”
